Lando Ferretti appointed Group President of Arkema's Technical Polymers Business Unit

Lando Ferretti joined the Arkema Group on July 1st 2006 as Group President of the Technical polymers Business Unit, within the Performance Products business segment, succeeding Bernard Roche who has been called to other functions.

An Italian national, 46 year old Lando Ferretti holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Mechanical Engineering degree from La Sapienza University in Rome.

After starting out his career as a consultant for the BCG (Boston Consulting Group) Strategy Consultancy, Lando Ferretti joined GE Plastics in 1988, and later GE Lighting where he held worldwide or European management posts in Sales, Marketing, Strategic and Operational Planning, Development, Product Management and Six Sigma Quality successively. In 2000, he joined VANTICO (a company created in 1999 from the Performance Polymers Division of Ciba Speciality Chemicals, specializing in coatings, structural composites, adhesives, thermal and electrical tooling and insulators) as CEO of the Adhesives, Tooling and Optronics Division. In October 2003, he joined CHEP Europe (world leader in pallet and container management solutions) as Senior Vice President, in charge of Sales, Customer Service, and Administration.
