alphaCART

alphaCART is a compact, portable, confocal Raman system for all applications in which the laboratory must be brought to the sample. The Raman probe can be flexibly positioned in front of bulky, immovable or precious objects to open up completely new application possibilities for chemical analysis using Raman spectroscopy.

The system's high confocality and signal sensitivity allow measurements through protective glass or windows, enabling the investigation of gases and chemical processes in reaction chambers and other enclosures. Researchers in art, archaeology, geoscience or materials science will especially benefit from this versatile and powerful instrument, as it can be easily set up in the field or in a museum.

The complete, self-contained alphaCART system is housed in a compact wheeled flight case in which all components can be easily and safely transported to on-site experiments.
