Extremely powerful pump, intuitive touchscreen controls, and a wide range of interfaces

The MAGIO MX-BC12 is a heating circulator designed for demanding external temperature control applications within a working temperature range of 20 to 300 °C. With a temperature stability of ±0.01 °C and a heating capacity of 3 kW, it is suitable for applications that require the highest thermal precision — both for external applications and for temperature control of samples in the internal bath.

High-Performance Pump for External Applications

The continuously adjustable pressure and suction pump delivers a flow rate of 16 to 31 l/min at a discharge pressure of 0.24 to 0.92 bar and a suction pressure of 0.03 to 0.4 bar. As a result, the MX-BC12 reliably meets even the most demanding requirements for temperature control of external systems. The integrated M16×1 pump connections and an integrated cooling coil for counter-cooling with an outer diameter of 9.5 mm enable flexible integration into existing process structures.

Intelligent Temperature Control

Intelligent Cascade Control automatically and self-optimizingly adjusts the PID control parameters, thereby achieving an external temperature stability of ±0.05 °C. The integrated programmer and the external Pt100 connection expand the range of applications for complex temperature control tasks. Classification III according to DIN 12876-1 permits operation even with flammable liquids; an automatic shutdown in case of overtemperature or low liquid level is integrated.

High-Resolution TFT Touch Display

The large-format TFT touchscreen clearly displays all relevant measurement and process data across three predefined main screens. The multilingual, self-explanatory menu navigation is structured according to relevance in everyday work and can be operated with a single tap. An integrated support function provides assistance with further detailed questions directly on the device.

Connectivity and Features

USB, Ethernet, RS232, and Modbus TCP/IP are available as permanently integrated interfaces for seamless integration into laboratory automation and process control. Additional analog interfaces are available as accessories. The stainless-steel bath tank, featuring high-quality thermal insulation, has a capacity of 8.5 to 12 L with a usable bath opening of 22 × 15 cm.
