03-02-2010: Airgas, Inc. announced its supply agreement with Goodrich Corporation, global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace, defense and homeland security industries, has been extended for an additional two years. Airgas will continue to be Goodrich’s preferred supplier of industrial gases, welding supplies and safety products, providing savings to those Goodrich facilities that use more than one product line. The agreement is part of the Airgas Strategic Accounts program, which provides supply chain management solutions to corporate customers with multiple manufacturing sites nationwide.
“We’re very happy to be able to continue to help Goodrich find creative ways to improve their operations through greater supply chain efficiency and real cost savings,” said Pat Visintainer, Airgas senior vice-president – corporate accounts. “We’ve proven we have the footprint, distribution capabilities, as well as product and service expertise to effectively support its facilities. We will continue to deliver the results Goodrich expects.”
