Verband der Chemischen Industrie e.V. – Landesverband Nord

The VCI Nord is a regional association of the German Chemical Industry Association. It represents the economic policy interests of around 280 member companies with approx. 48,000 employees in Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and Bremen. We regularly inform our member companies via a variety of channels such as our website, advocacy papers and the intranet. This enables us to form a joint opinion on current issues and new political legislative procedures - particularly in the areas of environmental and economic policy. The association is also involved in school and education policy and offers teacher training in chemistry and economics to promote science lessons and career guidance in the classroom. There are also exciting chemistry experiments for early childhood education. As an interface between politics, administration, science and companies, VCI Nord offers a recognized network for the establishment and further development of contacts and promotes the exchange of experience between member companies through a series of events.
