Emectric Batterien UG (Haftungsbeschränkt)

The EMECTRIC battery system was designed during the development of an electric propulsion system for gliders. For this reason, high requirements were set on performance, weight and safety already in the project planning – however, no provider on the market could supply a suitable battery. After we finally decided to make the batteries ourselves, our quality demands on our system only increased further. It was particularly important to us to be able to assemble geometrically different battery modules as flexibly as possible in order to make drive systems for different aircraft types possible.

Finally, a battery system was created, which can be completely customized to customer requirements.

Since December 2018 we were part of the Technology Transfer Initiative GmbH as transfer and start-up company (TGU). The TTI GmbH supports start-up projects and is a company of the University of Stuttgart.

From July 2019 to June 2020, we were supported with the EXIST program by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the European Social Fund.
