Over the past decade, however, energy density improvements have nearly plateaued, and incumbent battery technologies are unable to keep pace with consumer demand for ever-increasing range, power, and cycling stability. NanoGraf has developed a novel high-energy-density Si-based anode. Our technology has the potential to replace graphitic-based anodes and boost performance in lithium-ion batteries for a range of applications from military to consumer.
