Emerson names Andreas Fuchs as General Manager, Germany
Emerson Process Management announced the appointment of Andreas Fuchs as General Manager, Germany. Andreas joined Emerson in 2004 and was instrumental in the global launch of the DeltaV SIS modern process safety system. Over the past six years, as Director of Strategic Services, he has established a European services and solutions organisation to help customers to operate their plants in a more efficient, reliable and safe way. Andreas has over 22 years’ experience in the process automation industry, starting his career with Lurgi in Germany. He holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from the Technical University in Darmstadt and was recently honoured for his 25 years of membership of the German Engineering Association VDI.

Andreas takes over from Gertjan van der Ven, who having held the position for the last five years has been promoted to a strategic role within Emerson.
