ASC Names Hoffman Business Development Manager for ECD
Ashland Specialty Chemical Company's Electronic chemicals Division (ECD) has announced that Mike Hoffman has been named business development manager.
Chuck Cook, vice president and general manager of the division, made the announcement.
In his new position, Hoffman will be responsible for overseeing the division's efforts to identify new high potential business opportunities. He also will develop strategic business plans focused on market penetration and commercialization of new products. In addition, he will be responsible for directing the activities of the division's technology group. These activities include research programs for product development in new markets, product line extensions within existing markets and applications support for the division's process chemicals business unit.
He will be based in Dublin, Ohio, and report to Liz Potts, business director of process chemicals and business development for ECD.
A native of St. Johnsville, N.Y., Hoffman earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
