Price Increase on Quintac SIS and Quintone Hydrocarbon Resins

Zeon Chemicals and its parent company Zeon Corporation have announced a price increase of $0.07 per pound on all Quintac® SIS grades and $0.05 per pound on all Quintone® hydrocarbon resin grades effective April 1, 2003.
Mitsu Nagaki, Director, New Business Development, stated "Zeon Chemicals and Zeon Corporation have been working continuously to reduce both manufacturing and logistics costs for these product lines. However, despite these ongoing efforts, we find it necessary at this time to increase prices to support the long-term viability of the business."
