Solutia Inc. Launches New Web Site

Solutia Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of the plastic interlayer used to produce laminated glass, announced today that it has launched its new Enhanced Protective Glass (EPG) Web site that provides information to consumers and customers about the wide variety of applications for its product. The site can be found at www.solutia-autoglass.com .

"The launch of this site parallels the growth in popularity of EPG," said Vicki Holt, vice president of Solutia's Performance Films Division. "EPG is being adopted by a wide variety of OEMs like Volvo, Audi, and DaimlerChrysler, and it is important that we provide the information necessary for OEM engineers and product planners, as well as consumers, to make informed decisions about the use of EPG. We also felt it was important to have a central resource for journalists to draw from as they write about technical innovations in the automotive industry."

The site contains detailed information on the makeup and benefits of EPG. It is conveniently organized into sections for engineers, containing scientific and analytical data; for the media, which includes a press release and events link; and the consumer who is seeking general information about EPG and the vehicles on which it is offered.
