Brenntag secures full-line chemical distribution in Turkey
With effect from February 1, 2005, Brenntag has established a new distribution company under the name "Brenntag Kimya Tic. Ltd. Sti." in Istanbul, Turkey. Brenntag has been active in the Turkish chemical distribution market since 2003 through a local liaison office, and this step further strengthens Brenntag's regional presence in Southeastern Europe and allows customers and suppliers to benefit from full-coverage distribution.
"By opening its own sales company in the high-potential chemical distribution market in Turkey, Brenntag will now be even better placed for future activities in Southeastern Europe. This move enables Brenntag in Turkey to realize significant improvements in logistics and services for our customers and suppliers and further strengthens Brenntag's position in the attractive markets in the region", says Daniel Pithois, the member of the Executive Board of Brenntag responsible for Europe.
