X-Rite Achieves ISO 17025 Accreditation in US and Europe

20-Jun-2005

X-Rite announced that it has achieved ISO 17025 accreditation for its Grandville headquarters in the United States and GMBH operations in Germany. Achieving ISO 17025 Accreditation validates X-Rite's competence of calibration, ensuring customers consistent and repeatable production yields, optimized results, and compatibility with other products. According to its research, X-Rite is the first and only color management company with this accreditation. The ISO 17025 international standard governs calibration laboratory operations and procedures as well as the data reporting of the calibration services. X-Rite's testing and calibration laboratories in the United States and Germany comply with this standard. ISO 9001 Certification alone does not demonstrate the competence of a laboratory to produce technically valid data and results, whereas ISO 17025 Accreditation does provide that evidence.
