Noveon Increases Prices for Surfactants

Effective October 24, 2005, the Personal Care and Pharmaceuticals Group of Noveon, Inc. is increasing prices on the following surfactant products: Low active sulfates/ether sulfates and betaines by 2 cents per pound; high active sulfates/ether sulfates, amides, blends, and other specialties by 4 to 6 cents per pound. The company cites increased energy, transportation, and raw material costs as the key factors for the increase.
