Agilent Technologies expands custom solutions program for the hydrocarbon processing industry

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A), a leading provider of innovative technologies for communications and life sciences, today announced an expansion of its custom solutions program for the hydrocarbon processing industry (HPI), complemented by channel partners that specialize in specific areas of chemical analysis. The program is designed to help customers address business challenges driving the hydrocarbon processing industry, such as process efficiency improvements, environmental regulation and declining staffing.

The first channel partner to be included in this expanded program is Wasson-ECE, a long-standing Agilent Premier Solutions Partner and a recognized leader in HPI solutions delivery. Wasson's solutions experience will complement Agilent's expertise within the HPI custom solutions sold and supported by Agilent. Application areas include, but are not limited to, the analysis of polymer-grade monomers, beverage-grade CO2, reformulated gasoline, chemical plant and refinery gases, and natural gas.

The expanded program extends Agilent's ability to help customers throughout all stages of their analytical process -- from method development, product purchase and installation to information management and ongoing operations. Agilent's long-established expertise and experience in analytical systems for the hydrocarbon processing industry will enable the company to share this expertise in a consultative role with the customer and deliver it in the form of custom solutions. These solutions can include any combination of standard or custom instrumentation, supplies and services.
