Nobel Prizes

The Nobel Prize is awarded yearly in the fields of Chemistry, Medicine, Physics, Literature and Peace. Our Key Topic Nobel Prizes accumulates news and background information regarding this prestigious award.

The prize winners are announced in the beginning of October. The first announcement is traditionally the Nobel Prize in Medicine, followed by the award winners of Physics and Chemistry. The award ceremony takes place on December 10th, the date of Death of Alfred Nobel.
