Antec Scientific

Improved Carbohydrate Analysis with Pulsed Amperometric Detection (PAD)

The Top 3 Advantages

Stable - within 1 hour ready for injection

Robust - validated applications guaranteed

Optimized - dedicated flow cells with solid gold electrodes for 3- and 4-step PAD

Antec Scientific´s ALEXYS Carbohydrate Analyzer – the workhorse for your laboratory

The ALEXYS Carbohydrates Analyzer from Antec Scientific is a metal-free HPLC system. Carbohydrates are analysed by High Performance Anion Exchange Chromatography (HPAEC) with Pulsed Amperometric Detection (PAD).

Dedicated flow cells – FlexCell and SenCell – have a high pH resistant, maintenance free HyREF reference electrode. The Antec flow cells are using solid gold working electrodes with long lifetime and therefore are the most robust solution in the market. The ET 210 Helium tray degassing kit for carbonate free mobile phase assures most stable and sensitive analysis conditions.

Your workhorse, within 1 hour completely stabilized, ready for injection!

Applications are available for carbohydrates in food, beverages, plants, lactose free products, aminoglycosides antibiotics and others. Detection limits as low as 10 nmol/L can be obtained.
