SMOOTHLINE

SMOOTHLINE is ideal for static applications and the transfer of liquid and gaseous media, e.g. fuels, solvents, steam, high-pressure gas, refrigerants and oils. This hose can be used at operating temperatures of -70°C to +260°C, making it suitable for high-temperature fluids. In addition, the hose can withstand extreme operating pressures, making it ideal for hydraulic or pneumatic applications.

Optimal process reliability thanks to SMOOTHLINE

TECNO PLAST's SMOOTHLINE is a PTFE smooth hose that is resistant to most chemicals. Available as GP (virgin PTFE) or AS (electrically conductive PTFE), this hose will ensure greater process reliability in your applications. The AS version of the hose also contains carbon black particles, which prevent static charges from building up during the transport of non-conductive liquids.

SMOOTHLINE AS can be used in conjunction with stainless steel fittings in Ex zones 0, 1 and 2. If required, TECNO PLAST will issue an ATEX 2014/34/EU manufacturer's declaration.

SMOOTHLINE with cutting ring fittings

In hose manufacturing, cutting ring fittings have established themselves in the industry as a secure and tight connection for a combination of high operating pressures and temperatures. One advantage is that stainless steel fittings are suitable for a wide range of media.

TECNO PLAST supplies SMOOTHLINE in lengths of 250–1000 mm with smooth pipe sockets with an outer diameter of 6–12 mm as standard for industrial use. The pressure ratings are designed for 190–240 bar, depending on the nominal width.

What type of braiding does TECNO PLAST offer for SMOOTHLINE?

The braiding on TECNO PLAST SMOOTHLINE hoses consists of hard-drawn stainless steel wires (AISI 304=1.4301) with a tensile strength of 1,700 N/mm2. If you are interested, TECNO PLAST also offers double VA braiding (DB), which is used for high pressure and extreme bending requirements. Alternatively, TECNO PLAST offers plastic braiding made of Kevlar, Nomex and polyester and will advise you individually.
