In developing software and hardware for automatic image processing, the institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and their engineers and scientists have acquired a wealth of know-how of their own. Using this head start in knowledge to the advantage of industrial clients and releasing synergy effects is the main aim of the Fraunhofer Vision Alliance. The partners involved with the Alliance exchange knowledge and experiences and cooperate within the scope of projects. A network of industries and universities completes these abilities.
