Price increase of oxygenated solvents

Arkema announced that effective July 1, 2009, or as contracts allow, it will raise the price of its oxygenated solvents in Europe by 50 Euro/ton.

This price adjustment is necessary to offset the increase of raw materials and energy. Solvents impacted by this increase are: Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK), Diacetone Alcohol (DAA), Hexylene Glycol (HG), Isophorone.
