Merck hands over the distribution of the Surface Solutions Portfolio in the Nordics to Bodo Möller Chemie

Merck hands over the care of customers from the paints and coatings industry, the printing industry and the plastics sector to Bodo Möller Chemie

The Bodo Möller Chemie Group takes over the care of customers of Merck in the countries of Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland for the product area of effect pigments and additives for coatings, printings and plastics. Starting on May 1^st, 2021, the Offenbach-based Bodo Möller Chemie Group will be in charge not only of the customers, but also of the employee base of Surface Solutions in the Swedish Merck location, thereby expanding the product range of performance materials. Thus, the usual contacts will remain the same in the future, while Bodo Möller Chemie sees an additional increase of application know-how. The effect pigments and additives are primarily used in the paint and coating industry, in the printing sector and in the plastics area. The Surface Solutions business unit of Merck offers materials for innovative surfaces that are more resistant and also more effectively processed. Their stain resistance and other special effects are attained by additives.
