INEOS Styrenics increases prices for General Purpose Polystyrene (GPPS) products in Europe
INEOS Styrenics announced that prices for General Purpose polystyrene (GPPS) products in Europe increases by a minimum of €40 per tonne effective May 1st, 2011. The price increase is necessary due to the continued escalation of the price of Styrene required to manufacture Polystyrene. Also, given the large increase of butadiene price, the premium of High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) products will increase to € 120 per tonne.
