New Director for DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers for Europe, Middle East & Africa

Effective January 1st 2015, Raymond Palmen is appointed Director for DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers for the Europe, Middle East & Africa region. He takes over from Thomas Oury, who is moving on to DuPont Performance Polymers, as Regional Director EMEA.

Raymond Palmen is a strategic growth leader who has gathered a wealth of experience within a number of divisions within the company since 1988, most recently as the Director of Sourcing & Logistics EMEA for DuPont de Nemours International SA. He has also worked as EMEA Director for a number of divisions within the company, such as Chemicals, Fluoroproducts (Teflon®), Textiles & Interiors, and Corporate Planning. Previous to that, he worked for ten years in various roles within the Lycra® Division.

A graduate of the Solvay Business School at the Vrije Universiteit in Brussels, Raymond is fluent in four languages.  He has lived in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and France and since 1991 in Geneva, Switzerland, together with his wife Nathalie and his 2 sons.
