If you want to enjoy close proximity to your customers as often as possible, at some point frequent visits and a telephone are no longer enough. This prompted Berghof membranes to open a new branch office in Singapore on September 9, 2015. With this, the company has expanded its global sales network and consolidated its already strong position in the Asia-Pacific region.

Berghof GmbH

Singapore branch office officially opened by (from l. to r.) Eric Wildboer (Managing Director of Berghof Membrane Technology GmbH), Johannes Zundel (shareholder of Berghof GmbH), Jacques Werner (Dutch ambassador in Singapore), Georg Zundel (shareholder of Berghof GmbH), Kelvin Wang (Sales Area Manager Asia-Pacific) and Rick te Lintelo (Head of Sales and Marketing)

“We want to be closer to our customers,” Sales Area Manager Kelvin Wang, who heads the new branch office, explains. “The central geographical position in South-East Asia makes Singapore an ideal location from which to support existing and new OEM customers in the Asia-Pacific region. Our presence in this region enables us to optimally support these customers.” The new branch office was officially opened during a networking reception held at the Netherlands Water Pavilion.

As a leading provider of tubular membranes for filtration systems for water and wastewater purification, as well as innovative filtration concepts, Berghof Membranes has an installed basis of more than 800 reference systems worldwide. The company manages its international sales activities centrally from Leeuwarden, the Dutch capital for water technology, supported by local sales representatives in India, Brazil and Spain, as well as international OEM partners.
