Dow Opens New Customer Services Center to Provide Multi-language Professional Assistance and Information Resources

Dow Chemical Pacific Limited announced the official opening of its Pacific Customer Information Group (CIG) center this month. The Pacific CIG team includes professionally trained Technical Customer Support Representatives with multi-language capabilities including English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay language, Japanese, Thai and Korean. Based in Malaysia, the Pacific CIG operates during Malaysia business hours, after which and during Malaysian public holidays, phone calls will be forwarded to the Dow CIG center in Europe and handled in English. "For our customers, the new CIG center will make Dow easier to do business with, and will bring more value to our stakeholders through enhanced customer interface and customer satisfaction," says Ako Serizawa, Dow Pacific Customer Interface Area Director. "With a simple phone call, e-mail or fax, customers and other stakeholders in the Pacific region now have access to information about Dow, our products and services." Service offerings from CIG include answering to general inquiries, product and service information and literature fulfillment.
