Basell to Increase Prices for Polyethylene in Europe

Basell will increase prices on all of its European PE products by 50 Euros per tonne effective April 1, 2001.
“This further price increase is necessary since we have yet to restore margins to satisfactory levels, “ said Manuel Fraga, senior vice president, marketing and sales, Basell polyethylene. “This action is part of our determined effort to achieve an acceptable result.”
