Rheometer Scientific: New RheoPro rheometer provides true dynamic data at low cost

27-Aug-2001
The RheoPro is a versatile and robust instrument for measuring the dynamic rheological properties of viscous pastes, creams, lotions, and gels in both QC and R&D laboratories. In addition, the RheoPro is unique in its ability to measure dynamic mechanical properties of thermosets as they cure, e.g.,epoxy resins, rubbers, cements, powder paints, and gelatin. Additional applications include polymer melts, bitumen, and foodstuffs as a function of temperature. Features - Measures the rheology of highly viscous materials and viscoelastic pastes. - Disposable probes and containers make it ideal for following curing reactions to completion. Materials such as epoxy resins, cements, paints and gels can be studied in this manner. - True rheological data, including Storage Modulus, Loss Modulus, viscosity, and TanDelta over the viscosity range from 10 Pa.s to 100,000 Pa.s, covering 4 orders of magnitude. The upper and lower limits can be changed using customized springs and probes. - Simple to use - Minimum sample preparation. - Small sample volumes. - Fast thermal response time. - Time and temperature sweeps - Thermal ramp and soak capability - Select data sampling rates from 1 data point/second to data points/hour
