Dow Corning Opens Technical Information Center in Europe

Dow Corning has opened a new Technical Information Centre (TIC) in the company's Wiesbaden, Germany facility to extend the company's ability to provide live technical support to worldwide customers. TIC experts can provide Dow Corning's more than 20,000 customers with rapid responses in nine languages to technical, regulatory, and environmental, health and safety inquiries. The TIC also offers product recommendations, documentation, and solutions to technical challenges.

"The global service we offer to customers is unique in our industry," said Carol Pudnos, Dow Corning's global customer service director. "A number of companies and a leading search engine provider have contacted us to understand how Dow Corning has been able to offer this total capability.This demonstrates that Dow Corning is serious about meeting our customers' needs exactly by providing effective services and support."

The Wiesbaden facility is the fourth Technical Information Centre Dow Corning has opened in recent years. Others are in Tokyo, Japan, Songjiang, near Shanghai in China, and Midland, Michigan, USA.
