EPDM anti-trust investigations closed without charges against DSM

The European Commission has informed DSM that it has closed its investigations into alleged violations of the anti-trust laws involving the EPDM sector without charges of any kind against DSM or its affiliates. This decision follows a similar decision of the Department of Justice in the USA.

The investigations of the European Commission and the US Department of Justice started in December 2002.

EPDM is a synthetic rubber and a major product of DSM Elastomers, marketed worldwide under trade name Keltantm. EPDM is used in a wide variety of products in the automotive, building & construction and other industrial markets.
