New President and CEO for chemicals company Perstorp
Bo Dankis will take over as President and CEO of the Perstorp Group from Lennart Holm on 1 October 2006. Lennart has held the post since the summer of 2001.
Lennart Holm will take over the position as Chairman of the Board of the Perstorp Group from the same date, where he will replace Dominique Mégret (PAI partners) who will stay on as a board member. Going forward Lennart Holm is to focus on realization of the owners growth ambitions for the group. The shift does not imply any principle change in strategy or direction for the company.
Bo Dankis was born in 1954 and trained as a civil engineer at The Linköping Institute of Technology. Throughout his long and successful career he has built up extensive experience of international business in the industrial sector and has held leading positions in countries such as Japan and France for companies such as ABB and Assa Abloy. Bo's most recent position was as CEO of Assa Abloy, a global engineering industry group.
Lennart Holm's decision to step into a new role has matured during the last 6 months as it has become increasingly obvious that combining both the operative- and strategic perspectives is too time consuming.
