22-Feb-2007

Agilent Technologies Inc. announced that Shiela Robertson has been named to succeed John Eaton as vice president, Corporate Development. Eaton is retiring on April 30 after 23 years with Agilent and the Hewlett-Packard Co. Succeeding Robertson as operational CFO of the Electronic Measurement Group is Robert Cantrell, who was most recently group controller for Agilent's Global Infrastructure Organization.

Robertson, who began her career as a financial analyst with Hewlett-Packard in 1980, spent 10 years in HP's Computer Organization in Finance. From 1990 to 1999, she held various management positions in Corporate Financial Reporting, HP's Santa Clara Division, and Test and Measurement Field Operations. In 1999, she became Agilent's transition general manager, where she orchestrated the operational requirements to ensure Agilent operated as an independent company. For the past four years, as group controller and operational CFO, Robertson has been instrumental in improving operating margins for EMG, leading the strategic planning process, and establishing financial and operational metrics for all operating organizations.

Robertson is a graduate of Santa Clara University, with a bachelor's degree in history and an MBA.
