Dow Announces North American MDI and TDI Price Increases
The Dow Chemical Company will increase its prices in the United States and Canada for the following polyurethane products effective April 1, 2007:
- VORANATE(tm) toluene diisocyanate (TDI) by U.S. $0.10/pound.
- Methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) by U.S. $0.05/pound.
"Tight supply conditions globally, along with continued volatility in raw materials and energy costs are the driving forces behind this price increase," said Tom Feige, North American product marketing manager, Dow Polyurethanes.
