Dow UCAR Emulsion Systems Announces Price Increases for Emulsion Products and Rheology Modifiers
UCAR Emulsion Systems (UES), a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company, is increasing the list and off-list prices on its emulsion products and rheology modifiers.
Effective June 1, 2007, for all North American customers, UES will increase the price by $0.03 / wet pound for all products at or below 55 percent solids and $0.04 / wet pound for all other products in all chemistries including acrylic, styrene acrylic, and styrene butadiene latexes, NEOCAR(TM) acrylics, and UCAR(TM) POLYPHOBE(TM) rheology modifiers. These increases apply to all market segments, including architectural and industrial coatings, adhesives and sealants, and traffic coatings.
