Bayer MaterialScience raises prices for polyurethane raw materials
Effective January 1, 2008, Bayer MaterialScience is raising its sales prices for several polyurethane raw materials in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Prices for polyether polyols will rise by EUR 0.10 per kilogram. The price of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) will increase by EUR 0.20 per kilogram. The reason for this price rise is the continuing tight supply and demand situation for these polyurethane raw materials and their precursors. Contractual obligations in existence at the time when the price increases come into effect are not affected.
