AHF can provide you metal-free and robust laboratory heating plates for elemental trace analysis with ICP-MS and ICP-OES. These are made of graphite and coated with high-purity and acid-resistant fluoropolymer.
Due to the emission of particles, heating plates made of metal carry the risk of contaminating valuable samples and falsifying the analysis result. Graphite-made heating plates help to avoid such a risk. If aggressive media are used, such as acids for sample digestion, corrosion can shorten the service life of heating plates. The acid-resistant coating of our heating plates contributes to a long service life, thus reducing the cost of expensive new replacements for your laboratory.
The heating plates are available in different sizes (also customized) and can optionally be equipped with a temperature controller. We can also provide vessel racks made of graphite which supports the heat transfer to the vessel and fit to the heating plate and the sample vessels you are using.
