Cytiva offers specialized solutions for PM2.5 filtration. Our air monitoring membrane filters are designed for continuous air monitoring and are made from high-purity PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) membrane. The filters protect air quality and safeguard health with their precise, continuous monitoring of PM2.5 particles. These particles penetrate deep into the lungs and enter the bloodstream, which can cause serious health issues like heart disease, diabetes, and Alzheimer's. These particles also contribute to environmental harm, such as reduced crop yields.
Our PM2.5 air monitoring membrane filters comply with the EPA PM2.5 reference method under 40 CFR Part 50 Appendix L. They are free from glues and adhesives to prevent contamination and provide sample purity. Each filter is sequentially numbered for easy traceability and data management. The chemically resistant PP support ring prevents curling and makes the filters compatible with robotic air sampling systems. Additionally, these filters are highly efficient and capture at least 99.7% of particulates as small as 0.3 μm.
