High-Performance Screen Meshes and Filter Nonwovens for Precise Separation in Laboratory and Industry

RCT Reichelt Chemietechnik GmbH + Co.

High-quality screen meshes, filter fabrics, and filter nonwovens enable precise separation and filtration in demanding industrial and laboratory analytical applications. The available materials cover a broad spectrum of chemical resistances and temperature ranges.

Material Diversity for Specific Requirements

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) offers excellent mechanical strength without fatigue phenomena at temperatures from -75°C to +150°C. The material shows excellent hydrolysis, acid, and solvent resistance. Polyamide 6.6 (PA 6.6) is equipped with antistatic properties through incorporated conductive threads and is suitable for electrostatically sensitive applications.

Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE) and ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene (ECTFE) offer exceptional chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, and solvents at working temperatures up to 150°C. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) as a high-performance fluoroplastic combines extreme chemical resistance with dimensional stability up to 140°C.

Precise Mesh Sizes and Special Nonwovens

All screen meshes are available with mesh sizes from 80 µm to 4000 µm and enable precise particle size separation. Activated carbon nonwovens made from polyethylene (PE) with 30-50% activated carbon content in fine, medium, and coarse pore designs serve for adsorption of pollutants in medical fumigation systems and protective equipment.

Stainless steel SS 314 ensures highest mechanical strength and temperature resistance for extreme operating conditions. Filter mats made from glass fiber complement the range for special high-temperature applications.
