Gear pumps made from high-quality stainless steel ensure pulsation-free transfer of smallest to largest liquid volumes with highest dosing accuracy. Operating Principle and Design

The core consists of two counter-rotating gears made from polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), operating in a stainless steel housing 1.4401 (SS 316). The liquid is drawn into the clearance between gear flanks and housing and transported to the pressure side. The precise intermeshing of the teeth creates uniform, pulsation-free transfer.

Technical Performance Data

Available models achieve flow rates from 20 ml/min to 725 ml/min at back pressures up to 4.2 bar. High-performance models deliver up to 144 l/h at maximum operating pressures of 34 bar. Transfer accuracy is better than 0.1%, and the operating temperature range extends from -40°C to +176°C at viscosities up to 50 cP.

Chemical Resistance

The stainless steel used shows excellent resistance to acetone, benzene, diesel oil, acetic acid, formalin, nitric acid up to 33%, hydrogen sulfide, and various oils up to +250°C. The RoHS-compliant design ensures environmentally friendly use.

Control and Regulation

Magnetic versions offer stepless control from 0 to 2000 RPM with microprocessor control. A quick-run button enables second-fast increase of transfer volume. External control is achieved via PLC using a 25-pin D-connector and RS-232 interface.
