Membrane filters form the core of modern separation technology and enable precise filtration of the smallest particles through specially developed filter membranes. Technical specifications:
Available membrane diameters include 13 mm, 25 mm, 47 mm, 50 mm, 76 mm, 90 mm, and 142 mm. Pore sizes are finely graduated from 0.015 µm to 12.0 µm, covering the entire spectrum of microfiltration.
Application-specific pore size:
Membranes with 0.015-0.1 µm are suitable for virus and protein filtration, while 0.2 µm filters are used for sterile filtration and 0.4-1.0 µm filters for biological determinations and cell separation. Larger pore sizes up to 12.0 µm serve as prefilters and for general cleaning tasks.
High-performance materials:
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) membranes offer exceptional chemical resistance and temperature stability up to +260°C. These fluoroplastic membranes are particularly suitable for aggressive media and high-temperature applications.
