Porous sintered filters made from plastics and metals provide reliable filtration solutions for demanding industrial applications. These filter elements are created by compressing granulates at high temperatures, resulting in controlled pore structures for precise filtration.

Material diversity for different requirements

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sintered filters are characterized by exceptional chemical resistance. They withstand all inorganic and organic media at temperatures from -200°C to +260°C. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) variants are suitable for continuous operation up to +82°C and show high resistance to acids, alkalis and organic compounds.

Sintered metal fiber plates made from stainless steel 1.4401 achieve operating temperatures up to +500°C and meet BfR conformity for food technology applications. The highly porous Cr-Ni steel plates also prove themselves in oxidizing atmospheres.

Versatile application areas

The hydrophobic properties of sintered filters prevent the penetration of water and electrolytes, while gases can pass through unhindered. This makes them ideal for gas distribution systems, aeration plants and ventilation tasks. In media containing suspended particles, the filters remain clean and ensure constant flow rates.
