Material Diversity for Specific Requirements

The range includes round rods made from various high-performance materials: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) ensures chemical resistance at temperatures from -200°C to +260°C. Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) achieves operating temperatures up to +250°C with exceptional mechanical strength. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) offers UV resistance and FDA compliance for pharmaceutical applications.

Glass-ceramic round rods are characterized by absolute chemical resistance and temperature resistance up to +800°C. Glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) combines electrical insulation with high strength. Polycarbonate (PC) and polyoxymethylene (POM) are ideally suited for precision parts in mechanical engineering.

Technical Properties and Application Areas

The round rods meet the highest quality standards with manufacturing tolerances up to 0.013 mm. Polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) offers the lowest gas permeability as the hardest fluoroplastic with dimensional stability down to -255°C. Polyimide (PI) achieves temperature resistance up to +260°C with excellent wear resistance.
