High-Temperature Sealing Pastes for Chemical Resistance and Reliable Sealing

High-performance sealing pastes ensure reliable sealing in demanding industrial applications. These specialized sealants offer exceptional chemical resistance and temperature stability for critical connections in chemical engineering, process engineering and apparatus construction.
PTFE-based sealing pastes enable applications from -240°C to +260°C with absolute chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and aggressive gases such as chlorine or ammonia gas. The anaerobic thread sealant with DVGW approval is suitable for metal threads in fittings and withstands gas connection pressures as well as temperatures from -55°C to +150°C. The elastic paste settles evenly in thread pitches and enables maximum tightness with easy dismantling.
FPM/FKM sealants (fluoroelastomer) function as high-performance sealants for temperature ranges from -50°C to +300°C. These formulations show excellent adhesion to metals, fabrics, wood, concrete and firebrick as well as pronounced ozone and aging resistance for long-term sealing performance.
Ceramic sealing pastes handle extreme temperatures up to +1,400°C after complete curing. They serve simultaneously as sealant and high-temperature adhesive for material combinations metal/metal, ceramic/ceramic and metal/ceramic. These formulations provide optimal protection against corrosion and oxidation in the high-temperature range.
