Materials and Properties

The edge protection profiles are manufactured from high-quality materials. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in black finish is suitable for temperature ranges up to +80 °C and offers cost-effective solutions. Ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer (EPDM) as synthetic rubber impresses with exceptional weather resistance, high elasticity, and chemical resistance. EPDM profiles ensure watertight sealing and are characterized by their long service life.

Fastening and Installation

Integrated steel clamp bands or wire cores secure the firm fit of the profiles without additional screwing or bonding. The clamping range varies between 1 and 4 mm depending on the design and enables simple, tool-free installation on various edge thicknesses.

Profile Variants with Specialized Seals

Various sealing configurations meet specific requirements. The KD-1 variant features a top-mounted hollow chamber seal for vertical protection. KD-2 offers laterally mounted hollow chamber seals for horizontal sealing. KD-3 uses lateral sealing lips for precise surface adaptation.
