Silicone O-rings provide a reliable sealing solution for demanding applications in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries. These sealing rings, manufactured from vinyl-methyl-silicone rubber (VMQ), are peroxide-cured and comply with strict FDA and BfR requirements as well as the European Pharmacopoeia.

The sealing rings are characterized by their exceptional temperature resistance from -40°C to +200°C and offer a Shore hardness A of 78° according to DIN 53505. With an elongation at break of 410% according to DIN 53504, they ensure high flexibility and stability even under extreme conditions.

Special advantages of the silicone O-rings include their resistance to diluted acids and alkalis, disinfectants, steam and oxidizing media such as hypochlorite. Additionally, they are resistant to polar organic solvents such as acetic acid and show excellent ozone, weather and aging resistance.
