Clamp gaskets made from ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) and acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) provide reliable sealing for critical applications in the pharmaceutical and food industries. EPDM clamp gaskets are characterized by exceptional temperature resistance. With continuous temperature resistance up to +356°F (+180°C) and short-term resistance up to +410°F (+210°C), they are ideally suited for hot water and steam applications. The operating temperature range extends from -40°F (-40°C) to +302°F (+150°C) for air and up to +356°F (+180°C) for water. The Shore hardness A of 75° according to DIN 53505 ensures optimal sealing effect while maintaining high flexibility.

NBR clamp gaskets offer excellent resistance to fats, oils, fuels as well as diluted acids and alkalis. With a tensile strength of 18.5 N/mm² and 240% elongation at break according to DIN 53504, they demonstrate excellent mechanical properties. The operating temperature range from -4°F (-20°C) to +212°F (+100°C) at Shore hardness A 70° makes them ideal for pharmaceutical processes.

Both material variants are FDA and BfR compliant as well as approved according to European Pharmacopoeia. The KTW and DVGW approval confirms their suitability for drinking water applications.
