The FRITSCH Mini Cutting Mill P-29 combines a compact design with professional performance for the comminution of small sample quantities. With its variable speed of 500-6,000 rpm, it processes medium-hard, soft, brittle, tough, fibrous and temperature-sensitive materials such as grain, seeds or plastics quickly and effectively - with reliably reproducible results.

Optimum sample preparation without moisture loss

Thanks to the variable speed setting, the FRITSCH P-29 grinds your samples in optimum form and with virtually no loss of moisture. This property fulfills the essential requirement for analytically correct analysis in the field of feed and raw material sampling. The mill is ideal for moisture, crude fiber and ash determination as well as for IR and NIR analysis. It can also be used for sample preparation for plastic emission measurements.

Powerful shredding with up to 48,000 cuts per minute

The rotor with four straight cutting edges and counter blades made of hardened stainless steel enables up to 48,000 cuts per minute. With a maximum feed size of 25 mm, you can achieve final finenesses of 0.25-6 mm with various sieve inserts made of 316L stainless steel - optionally with a square or trapezoidal hole. The special grinding chamber geometry ensures automatic material transport: thanks to a progressively designed cutting geometry between the rotor knives and counter knives, the ground material is continuously ground finer according to the scissor principle until the desired final fineness is achieved.

Easy handling and quick cleaning

The FRITSCH P-29 impresses with its uncomplicated operation. Both the rotor knives and the fixed knives can be rotated and are therefore particularly durable. It is not necessary to adjust the cutting gap - the knives are simply inserted. The sieve inserts automatically ensure the optimum distance to the rotor. Thanks to the clean design and smooth, easy-to-clean inner walls of the grinding chamber without dead spaces, the grinder can be cleaned without contamination in just a few simple steps. The removable, wear-free stainless steel labyrinth seal offers effective contamination protection without any additional heat effect for your samples.
