Sophie Fouillat new Arkema Vice President Investor Relations
On September 1st 2009, Sophie Fouillat will be appointed Arkema Vice President Investor Relations, in charge of relations with analysts, investors and individual shareholders. She will replace Frédéric Gauvard who on the same date will be appointed Director Europe / Asia within Arkema’s Fluorochemicals Business Unit.
Sophie Fouillat, 33 years old, graduated from the H.E.C. (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) business school. She began her career in 1999 in Total’s Finance Division as an International Tax Specialist. In March 2006, she joined Arkema’s Investor Relations Department as Investor Relations Manager.
Frédéric Gauvard, 40 years old, is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines in Paris. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Houston – Clear Lake (United States). He began his career with Elf Atochem as Head of Production at the Carling facility (France), before taking part in the construction and startup of the Acrylics plant at the Houston facility (United States). In 2002 he joined the Financial Operations Department within Total’s Chemicals Branch. He has been Vice President Investor Relations at Arkema since October 2005.
