Anthos Labtec introduces the new Zenyth 340 Microplate Reader at Analytica 2002. Fast and flexible scanning optics and a wide measurement range make it an optimum choice for absorbancy reading applications in life sciences as well as for routine ELISA.

The instrument provides multiple measurement modes for mono- and bichromatic readings, kinetic and position scanning readings and is compatible with plate formats from 6 to 384 wells.

A ?stand-alone? model offers comprehensive evaluation functions on a built in Windows CE computer. Connections are available for an optional full keyboard, mouse, VGA and USB floppy drive. As a unique feature, the instrument can be fully integrated in computer networks (LAN) for bi-directional data exchange. A ?remote control? version comes with a data aquisition package which is readily compatible with many data analysis tools in addition to the new ADAP software line from Anthos Labtec. Accessory offers include a temperature control up to 45 °C and comprehensive software packages for data-evaluation on PC. The product will be offered with a variety of features, capabilities and software to allow nearly every user access to their critical applications while maintaining a reasonable investment. ?With excellent performance in accuracy and precision and with a durable design for long life as well as the latest in data integration options, the Zenyth represents the next generation in absorbance technology,? notes Gottfried Griemayr, Strategic Product Manager for Anthos Labtec.
