Alberto Perez Pereira has become the new Managing Director for Bodo Möller Chemie Spain and Portugal

Alberto Perez Pereira took over the helm at the Bodo Möller Chemie national subsidiaries in Spain and Portugal on October 1, 2025. In his new role as Managing Director, he will primarily focus on expanding the collaboration with partner company Medmix, a specialist in mixing, dosing and application technologies for liquids while drawing on his extensive experience in international leadership positions.
By appointing Perez Pereira, the Bodo Möller Chemie Group is placing its trust in an experienced leader with in-depth knowledge of the chemical industry. The graduate industrial engineer began his career in sales, quickly rising to take charge of a business unit in Spain and Portugal. He was also responsible for setting up a new division in a family enterprise. He then switched to Henkel’s German headquarters, where he was employed in several management positions in the Strategy, Marketing and Sales Departments over a period of more than ten years. During this time, he was actively involved in the successful further development of the construction adhesive, consumer sealant and packaging adhesive segments among other things. Most recently, he took charge of the global sales operations for packaging adhesives and further developed innovative business models based on digital technologies. His many years of employment at Henkel equipped him with deep market insights and an extensive internal network.
In his new role at Bodo Möller Chemie, Perez Pereira oversees operations at the Tarragona (Spain) and Valbom (Portugal) locations while also expanding the strategic partnership with Medmix. A leading mixing and dosing systems provider, Medmix works closely with Bodo Möller Chemie on industrial adhesive applications. Perez Pereira’s role as Managing Director is central to consolidating the company’s market position and driving greater client focus in the region.
He is also dedicated to building a highly capable, committed team and fostering innovations and groundbreaking approaches to solutions. Other priorities include constantly optimizing and digitizing internal and external processes and expanding and maintaining sustainable, long-term, trust-based client relationships.
