BASF increases price for DMAPA

09-Jul-2002

Effective July 1st, as existing agreements permit, BASF Aktiengesellschaft of Ludwigshafen, Germany, has raised its price for 3- (Dimethylamino)propylamine (DMAPA) in Europe. Prices for bulk and packaged material were increased by € 50 per metric ton.

Unsatisfactory proceeds for this product are the reason for this adjustment. DMAPA is a specialty amine and is mainly used in the production of surfactants for use in personal care products.
